‘Jung-sJabs’ Outreach Programme Held in Sakti Village, Delivers Key Public Services in Kharu Sub-Division

Leh, March 30, 2025: As part of ongoing public outreach initiatives under the directions of the Deputy Commissioner, the “Jung-sJabs” programme was successfully performed in Sakti village of Kharu Sub-Division in Ladakh, bringing essential government services directly to the doorstep of residents.

Multi-Departmental Services Delivered

The outreach camp provided a wide range of welfare and administrative services, including:

  • Revenue-related services
  • Aadhaar card registration and updates
  • Banking services
  • Social Welfare schemes
  • Animal and Sheep Husbandry services
  • Agriculture and Horticulture support

The initiative aimed to ensure last-mile delivery of government services and address public grievances at the grassroots level.

Monitoring by Sub-Divisional Magistrate

The programme was closely monitored by Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Kharu, Mohd Shabir, who:

  • Assessed the functioning of various departments
  • Reviewed service delivery efficiency
  • Collected feedback directly from local residents
