Dras, Ladakh – Lieutenant Governor Brigadier BD Mishra (retd) lauded the Indian Army and the local populace of Dras, Ladakh for their unwavering courage and commendable support towards each other.

“The army has always shown courage here. But, along with that, the support of the local people is praiseworthy,” said Mishra during a recent visit to the region. He emphasized the importance of the local community’s role in supporting the army’s efforts.

Mishra, a retired Brigadier, expressed his admiration for the people of Dras, who have consistently worked alongside the army, even in challenging circumstances. “I want to congratulate the people for working shoulder-to-shoulder with the army,” he added.
