PM Modi Lambasts Telangana Congress Over Alleged “RR Tax” in Zahirabad Rally

Date:

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during a vibrant public rally in Zahirabad, Telangana, launched a scathing critique against the Telangana Congress, accusing them of imposing what he termed as the “RR tax” and shedding light on its detrimental impact on the state’s populace.

In a fervent address, PM Modi drew parallels between the monumental success of the Telugu blockbuster film “RRR” and the purported burdensome tax regime enforced by the Telangana Congress. While commending the film’s global recognition and accolades, Modi expressed deep-seated apprehension regarding the adverse effects of the “RR tax” on the residents of Telangana.

“RRR has brought immense pride to our nation, but the imposition of the RR tax by the Telangana Congress is indeed a blot on our collective conscience,” asserted Modi, resonating with the crowd’s fervor. He further alleged that the Telangana Congress has been coercing industrialists and contractors in the state to contribute to this tax through clandestine channels, branding it as payments “from the backdoor.”

Moreover, PM Modi levied serious accusations, suggesting that a substantial portion of the revenue amassed from the RR tax is clandestinely funneled to Delhi as illicit black money, casting aspersions on the ethical integrity of the Telangana Congress.

The rally, a pivotal juncture in PM Modi’s electoral campaign in Telangana, has reignited public discourse on taxation policies and fiscal accountability within the state. As citizens and businesses grapple with the repercussions of the RR tax, political tensions continue to escalate, with demands for transparency and probity within the Telangana Congress reaching a crescendo.

Despite the weight of PM Modi’s allegations, the Telangana Congress has refrained from issuing a formal response, leaving the electorate anxiously awaiting clarification on the matter. With the political landscape in Telangana undergoing intense scrutiny, the RR tax controversy has emerged as a defining issue, underscoring the imperative for principled governance and fiscal rectitude.
