PM Modi’s Udhampur Address: Accusations of Disrespecting Majority Sentiments Against Opposition

Date:

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in a public rally in Udhampur, Jammu and Kashmir, levelled serious allegations against the Congress and INDI alliance. He accused them of showing disregard for the sentiments of the majority of the Indian population.

“The people of Congress and INDI alliance do not care about the sentiments of the majority of the people of the country. They enjoy playing with the sentiments of the people,” PM Modi stated during his address. He further elaborated on his accusations by citing a recent incident involving a convicted individual out on bail.

PM Modi pointed out that members of the opposition visited the house of this individual and filmed themselves cooking mutton during the holy month of Sawan. “The law does not stop anyone from eating anything but the intentions of these people are something else,” he said.

Drawing parallels between the actions of the opposition and historical events, PM Modi compared their actions to those of the Mughals. He stated, “When the Mughals attacked here, they were not satisfied until they demolished the temples. So just like Mughals, they want to tease the people of the country by showing the video in the month of Sawan.”

These comments have ignited a nationwide debate. As the opposition prepares its response, the citizens of India are closely watching the unfolding political drama, hoping for a future that respects their sentiments and beliefs.
