PM Modi Lays Foundation Stones for Key Development Projects in Arunachal Pradesh

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a public gathering in Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh, during the foundation stone laying ceremony and inauguration of multiple development projects aimed at boosting infrastructure, connectivity, and economic growth in the state.

Highlighting the government’s commitment to the Northeast, PM Modi said these projects will strengthen road networks, improve healthcare and education facilities, and promote tourism and trade, ensuring better opportunities for local communities. He reaffirmed that Arunachal Pradesh remains a key focus of India’s “Act East” policy, emphasizing its strategic importance and cultural richness.

The Prime Minister praised the people of Arunachal for their vibrant traditions and contribution to the nation, assuring that the central government will continue to support sustainable development and inclusive growth in the region.
