Union Minister Kiren Rijiju Pledges Development and Empowerment in Kargil Visit

Kargil, Ladakh: Union Minister Kiren Rijiju made his inaugural visit to Kargil since assuming office, emphasizing the government’s commitment to minority development and socio-economic progress under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership.

During his visit, Minister Rijiju commended the visible benefits of government initiatives in Kargil, highlighting advancements in infrastructure and opportunities for local residents. “Under PM Modi’s leadership, significant strides have been made in the development of minorities, and I witness the positive impact on the people of Kargil,” stated Rijiju.

Echoing PM Modi’s mantra of ‘Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas’ (Collective Effort, Inclusive Growth), Rijiju underscored the government’s focus on fostering self-employment and generating employment opportunities in Kargil. “Our efforts here encompass various sectors, including leveraging the region’s rich cultural heritage,” he added.

The minister’s visit aims to assess ongoing developmental projects and engage with local communities to address their needs effectively. Rijiju reiterated the government’s commitment to enhancing socio-economic conditions and infrastructure in Kargil, aligning with broader national objectives of inclusive growth and regional empowerment.

As discussions and assessments continue, stakeholders anticipate collaborative efforts between the central government, local administration, and community leaders to leverage Kargil’s potential fully.
